RED Engineer is a recurring character in the STBlackST videos. He managed to capture the twin spies with the 'Reality Warp' in his toolbox, in the video 'Spy is a Troublemaker', but got turned into stone after Heavy Phone bit him in the leg in 'Very Unusual Troubles' in order to free the previously captuRED spies. He was eventually able to free himself through unknown means and go back to his usual activities.
Appearance[]
Engineer's regular appearance is that of a standard RED Engineer, sometimes he has a cake on his head.
Personality[]
Engineer is very friendly and forgiving to his teammates, however he always wants something in return to whoever asks for his help. He is also hostile towards the BLU team when they try to complete the objective.
History[]
Soldier is trying to capture France[]
The Engineer was playing a TF2 version of "Cat Mario" until the RED Soldier orders him to build a Teleporter, he declines. The RED Heavy appears and asks where's his Minigun, the Soldier tells him it's in Engineer's Dispenser so the Heavy starts beating it up and calls the Engineer a Spy, to which the Engineer responds "I'm afraid not." With Spy's voice.
Texan Space Program[]
The Engineer is about to eat a sandwich but is sucked into a bucket by a cake, the RED Heavy encounters his sandwich and eats which leads into his death, later the Engineer has the Heavy strapped to a rocket and sends him into space, he orders the Heavy to kill Soldier and the rocket launches to Soldiers rocketship. After the Heavy captures Soldier which was actually the BLU Spy, he sends the Spy into space on a rocket.
Cow Eating Contest[]
The Engineer hosts a beef eating contest with the following contestants: BLU Pyro, RED Soldier, RED Scout, RED Heavy and RED Demoman. He is threatened by the Heavy to replace the beef with sandwiches.
Tea time on gravelpit[]
He is having tea peacefully but the RED Soldier destroys the box he's sitting on.
Everyday Routine[]
The RED heavy unboxed him from the Tactical Anti-Scout Device box. Then he flew towards Death Machine & trapped him in a toolbox, then the BLU Spy started singing and suddenly a phone pillar crushed him. The Engineer used the phone until RED Demoman started smashing the pillar with an axe. The pillar almost crushed RED Engineer but the RED Heavy reversed the fall, which smashed RED Demoman.
Spy is a Troublemaker[]
RED Heavy calls the Engineer for help, he burps a toolbox which builds a broken Sentry and then requests RED Pyro to touch it, upon being touched it fires a bullet at Pyro. Engineer curses and kicks a bucket which the RED Demoman and he heals Pyro with a boot. The Administrator announces that the Control Point is being captured, he and Miss Pauling arrives to fight the BLU Summer Hat Brothers. After winning the fight, they successfully save the RED Medic.
Soldier's Magnificent Adventure[]
Engineer is baited out of his toolbox by American Boot, he then orders him to build a boat, Engineer declines but then reconsiders after seeing Soldier's treasure map. After Engineer builds a boat, American Boot is incredibly dissappointed, so dissappointed that he uses his Loose Cannon to launch Engineer away from his boat and embarks on his own.
Later, Engineer encounters American Boot about to be cooked by the Cannibal Scouts, he saves him by distracting the Scouts with a Dispenser showing Control Point Spy dancing, he then picks up Soldier on his flying boat. As they fly away, American Boot apologizes to the Engineer and hands him the map, the Engineer takes the map and tosses it on the ocean.
Morning Events[]
Engineer and American Boot are seen sitting and doing nothing, Engineer suggests teleporting cake to which Soldier disagrees. The RED Heavy interrupts them and shows RED Medic's drugs, all of them promptly start snorting it after the Heavy tosses it on the floor, they then pass out on the floor. After they wake up, Engineer is seen trading with RED Spy.
Upon seeing the Heavy's death caused by Merasmus, he mourns along with Medic and American Boot.
Competitive Misadventures[]
Engineer is first seen hauling out a sandwich assembly kit made in Texas (with additional description that it "contains: bread, cow meat, expired cheese, poisoned vegetables, olive, cancer. Do not consume if you are French!"). He prepares a sandwich accordingly, nearly interrupted from eating it by a wounded RED Demoman until RED Heavy calls him for 'good stuff'. After the presumed intake of Heavy's powdery substances, he returns to find out that a hungry Baguette Master has begun to eat his sandwich. Engineer warned him against further consumption, which is ignored and immediately witnesses the spy's spectacular death as a result of cancer.
Abilities[]
Engineer can slide quickly along surfaces.[ED 1]
Engineer can also stand on sideways surfaces, but seems to not be able to do it when it is moving.[ED 2]
Engineer has super strength, he can lift American Boot with a single arm.[SMA 1]
Equipment[]
Dispenser - Engineer can build a Dispenser that also runs games,[SittcF 1] and can play videos too.[SMA 2]
Teleporter - Engineer can build a Teleporter that can teleport anywhere and without a teleporter exit.[SittcF 2]
Sentry - Engineer can build a regular Sentrygun,[TSP 1] he can also burp a toolbox that builds a broken Sentry that shoots whoever touches it.[SiaT 1]
Fake - A fake Engineer that reveals itself to be a wooden cutout with a Red-Tape Recorder on it that speaks a recorded line.[TSP 2]
Reality Warping Toolbox - A toolbox which has a Engineer inside it for distraction, it will close the entire screen inside of it and capture whatever the Engineer wants that's on screen.[ED 3] It can also capture people from far away with a laser, similar to a Pokéball.[SiaT 2]
Texan Shotgun - A regular shotgun.[SiaT 3]
Boat - Engineer can build a small boat in a short amount of time[SMA 3] and build flying boats.[SMA 4]

Trivia[]
- Engineer probably lives inside of a toolbox.[SMA 5]
- Engineer is said to be radioactive as seen in the "Tactical Anti-Scout Device" which has a warning labeled "WARNING RADIOACTIVE HAZARD".[ED 4] However the Engineer has never been shown to be radioactive in any way.
